Have a Hoopla Family Movie Night!

I don’t know about you, but we’ve been watching more television and movies together as a family lately.  I love it, and we have quickly gone through our entire collection of family DVDs…twice.  We’re ready for something new (or just something that we don’t own).  Enter Hoopla, a streaming site that is free from your local Delaware library!  All you need is your library card and you are set!  It’s available as an app too so you can even stream from your phone or tablet.  The items are instantly available so make your popcorn ahead of time!

It Takes Two (PG): Remember how cute the Olsen twins used to be?  Reminisce with this kooky Parent Trap-esque nineties film.  Based at a summer camp and perfect for all ages.

Daddy Day Care (PG): A family movie with a good message at the end, Eddie Murphy loses his job and decides to open a day care with his friends and their children. Some jokes go over kids’ heads but will have the adults chuckling.

Finding Neverland (PG): A film about James M. Barrie (played by Johnny Depp) meeting a widow (played by Kate Winslet) and her children, who help him write his most famous story, Peter Pan.

The Secret of N.I.M.H. (G): An older cartoon, but still worth the watch, a shy mouse mother goes on an adventure in order to save her son from impending doom.

Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown (G): The Peanuts gang is at it again, and this time it involves a river rafting trip.

Let us know if you found any other Family Movie Night gems!  Hoopla also has a wide variety of e-books, audiobooks, music, and more.  You can borrow up to four titles per month.  Enjoy!
