Get Healthy

The Laurel Public Library encourages and supports good health through providing programs and resources focused on good health.  Stay fit by walking the Broad Creek Fitness Trail or joining the library’s tai chi and yoga classes.

Cooking for Good Health and Happiness met Sept. 11, 18 and 25, 2015. Participants watched cooking demos and then learned how to find accurate health information using the computer.

Nutritious, Quick, and FlavorFULL Cooking (previously Cooking for Good Health and Happiness) was held September 12, 19, and 26, 2017.

        The CDC provides consumer-friendly information on preventing and managing diseases.
