Adults 18 and up, can you eat healthier and be more active even when you’re on a tight budget? YES! Join the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension at the library as they present a six-week course. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate and calendar or a cookbook with recipes. If you attend four out of the six sessions, you will receive a free bag of groceries. You will learn about healthy eating and cooking for less, saving money at the grocery store, keeping food safe, being active, preparing tasty foods, and planning meals. Registration is required. To register, please visit https://laurel.lib.de.us/ or call 302-875-3184. Attendees are expected to attend all sessions. This program is brought to you in part by the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, a service of the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources—a land-grant institution. This institution is an equal opportunity provider. If you have special needs that need to be accommodated, please contact the office at 302-856-2585 ext. 567, two weeks prior to the event.
